For me, it is not very often that I like to use any text in wall art, as normally a clear image is better as a focal point. A picture paints a thousand words, you might say. However, in this case, it is the words themselves that say it all. 

When I came across this excellent image (and thanks to Edwin Hooper) from a free to use licensed source, I loved the idea. Obviously, it is The World Cinema which is temporarily closed, but with a little bit of dark humour, it is easy to make the small leap to it being the Earth which is temporarily closed, which in these dark economic and environmental times is not such a leap! With a little layering and filtering, I quite liked the idea of adding a darker graphic effect to enhance the message, with the minimal amount of colour adding to the overall gloomy outlook.

This free wall art is similar to a standard A5 size (210 x 148mm or 8.3 x 5.8in approx.) and is high resolution 300dpi (high print quality). For example, the JPEG is 2480 x 1756 pixels, and if altered to 150dpi (medium print quality) would actually give an image size of 420 x 297mm.  I am working to provide even larger sized high resolution downloads for this artwork.
